Andreas Soma, installation of animated light tubes

Société Lumière was asked by the Norwegian artist, Andreas Soma, who was invited to create a unique artistic work for the new fire station in Stavanger, Norway. Andreas, who has often worked on the theme of tubes, found a wonderful playground here. Together, we proposed an installation of animated light tubes, with a playful and poetic crossover.

THE NAUTILUS ROOM – SOLO SHOW W – Hélène DELPRAT

Galerie Christophe Gaillard and Hélène Delprat called on the Société Lumière for the project presented at ART BASEL 2021.
The 4 light boxes constitute the central part of the installation The Nautilus Room – a Triptych and a box “The Sphinx” facing it.
The dimensions of the images prohibited us from using photographic support as Duratrans (Kodak) so we have chosen to print directly on plexiglass. We printed images that are 305 x 204,3 cm ! Images are backlit with approximately 30 000 Led. The whole is managed by a wireless variation system CASAMBI.
