French Pavilion, 61e International Exhibition at the Biennale di Venezia 2026<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the Renaissance, it was said that artists were born under the influence of Saturn. For the Venice Biennale, Yto Barrada<\/a> revisits this myth with Comme Saturne, a work in which textiles<\/a> play a central role.
During the preparation of this work, the artist was captivated by the beauty of one of her fabrics when illuminated from behind by sunlight. She wanted to recreate this effect \u2014 and we made it happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
